Interveiw With Suzi 2

I am so excited to share with you this interview!

As you all might know, or not know, I “met” Suzi from her AMAZING “Blog By Number” course. Suzi created the course especially for moms like us. ????

You can read my review here and you can watch my YouTube video review here.

I Just want to thank Suzi from my heart for participating in this interview. She truly wants to help other mamas succeed with their blog! Don’t forget to check her AWESOME blog out….she has a ton of useful information about blogging! 😉

I love these type of interviews….they are awesome to read because there is always something new to learn from successful bloggers. Hopefully one day, one or more of my readers will interview me. If you are interested, don’t hesitate to ask! I will be glad to help you in any way!

Without further a due, here is my interview with the one and only lovely Suzi ????

What is your blog?

what is your #1 tip for a new blogger?

My #1 tip is always changing – right now it is to research your market, write content that helps them, and build your email list. If you rinse and repeat those steps over and over until your list grows, you will know exactly what type of product to create to sell to your email list.

what was your hardest part starting your blog? (Lack of confidence, technology, fear of failure etc….)

Time. It is always hard to find the time when you have kids around, or the house to clean, or a million other things to do. After a few months of blogging, I realized that I needed to change my schedule. I now get up at 5:30 am every weekday morning so I can work on my blog for a few hours before my girls wake up.

What would you do differently if you had to start all over again?

I would build my email list from day one, I would invest in Tailwind to schedule my pins, I would research my market more. All of the things I’m doing now, I would just do quicker :). I wouldn’t stress out so much – blogging is very overwhelming in the beginning – you’re learning how to run an online business. Take it one day at a time, learn one thing each day, and don’t stress. Just a little each day consistently will pay off.

what was your biggest struggle after you created your blog? (Page views, followers etc….)

Getting page views, in the beginning, is hard. But great content with infographics and great visuals do well – so the more posts I create like that – the more my page views climb.

What was your main reason you started your blog?

I started my blog because I needed something for me while I am a stay at home mom. I needed an outlet for my passions and skills and blogging was perfect for it! It’s flexible and has the potential to grow tremendously.

how long did it take you to earn enough to quit your day job? or till you reached a full-time income.

I was a stay at home mom when I started blogging. I used to make 75K per year as an engineer for GE. So that’s roughly $6,250 per month. I hit that amount with my blog 10 months after launching my blog.

your blogger inspiration (who is your “guru” 😉 ) (I know mine is YOU Suzi!)

Aww, thank you, Eva! My blogging guru is Mariah Coz from and Pat Flynn from

Any other tips and tricks you find sharing with us?

Blogging is a fantastic online hobby that can turn into a full income business. It is so easy with today’s technology to reach thousands of people and share your message. Never has it been this easy to create online products and services to help others. It’s an amazing time we live in – and I’m so thankful that as a stay at home mom I can still ‘be in the world’ while being home with my little ones.

I really hope that you found something useful in this interview!

Please let me know if you enjoyed reading this type of post and if you did – I will do more interviews with other successful mom bloggers.
